PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press machine which is easily and efficiently operated and can reliably and precisely perform shearing work and hole-punching work of a workpiece to be processed. SOLUTION: The machine comprises one metal die 20a on which the workpiece to be pressed is placed, a table 22 on which the die 20a can be fixed, and a pair of slide rails 16 on which the table 22 can slidably be installed. On both sides in the horizontal direction of the table 22 which slides on the slide rails 16, two connecting supports 54 and a guide support 56 located therebetween are arranged respectively on each side of the table 22. A die fixing plate 60 is spanned slidably in the vertical direction and positioned by three supports 54, 56 on each side. The other die 20b fixed on the die fixing plate 60 and a cylinder shaft 68 of an air cylinder 70 jointed to the center of the die fixing plate 60 are provided so that the die fixing plate 60 is moved vertically by the air cylinder 70.
