PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow membrane module which can perform stable filtration operation. SOLUTION: Whole of a plurality of hollow fiber membrane bundles 16 are bundled with one band-like bundling means 26. During filtration operation, even if back pressure washing water is supplied from a penetrating water inlet/outlet port 20, the bundling means 26 bundles whole of the hollow fiber membrane bundles 16, further faces the inlet/outlet port 20, thereby preventing swaying or collision of the hollow fiber membrane bundles 16.
