PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve high-speed image transfer.SOLUTION: A first communication unit 32 of a printing system 10 transmits first image transfer information indicating an image transfer procedure to a second information processing apparatus 16 via a first transfer path 18. A second communication unit 38 receives second image transfer information from the second information processing apparatus 16 via a second transfer path 20 having a higher data transfer rate than that of the first transfer path 18, and transmits print data to the second information processing apparatus 16 via the second transfer path 20 along the image transfer procedure indicated in the second image transfer information.
