PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearable system capable of providing a rapid relief from a migraine pain and a sustained action for prevention of the migraine pain recurrence.SOLUTION: Provided is an iontophoretic transdermal patch in which an active anti-migraine agent selected from Sumatriptan and Naratriptan or salts thereof has a waveform delivery pattern which has an electronic components constructed to produce a two-stage patterned delivery sequence, where a therapeutically effective dosage level is reached in a subject in generally less than one hour and a maintenance level is continued for one or more hours, and an initial or first stage delivery rate exceeds a second stage delivery rate.
