PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cartridge by which viscosity of a liquid in a storage chamber can be directly estimated.SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 30 is provided with: an ink chamber 36 in which ink is stored; a detected member 59 which has a float 63 of which specific gravity is smaller than the ink and can move between a detection position which is detectable from an outside of the ink cartridge 30 and a standby position which is undetectable; and a regulation member 88 which can move between a regulation position for regulating movement of the detected member 59 from the standby position and an allowable position for allowing the movement. The detected member 59 moves from the standby position to the detection position by the float 63 which moves upward in response to movement of the regulation member 88 to the allowable position. The float 63 includes a plurality of surfaces 155 which are arranged so as to extend in a removal direction 52 and separate from each other in a rotation direction of the detected member 59, and generate resistance to rotation of the detected member 59. A space 156 between the respective surfaces 155 is opened in a plurality of directions with respect to the ink chamber 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
