PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object and an apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object, by which a three-dimensional molded object excellent in mechanical strength can be safely manufactured with excellent productivity and excellent stability, and a three-dimensional molded object excellent in mechanical strength manufactured by using the above method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object and the apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object aims to manufacture a three-dimensional molded object by stacking layers 1, and the method includes: a layer formation step 1a of forming the layer 1 by using a layer-forming composition 11 comprising a plurality of particles 111; and a binding liquid imparting step 1d of imparting a binding liquid 12 to the layer 1.
