PURPOSE: An apparatus for adjusting the waveform of the signal of a repeater using a digital signal processor is provided to minimize a distortion generated in the waveform of a signal by removing an oscillation existing in the signal waveform, in the case of transmitting the signal received to a repeater to a mobile terminal or a base station. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for adjusting the waveform of the signal of a repeater using a digital signal processor is comprised of the first bidirectional filter(14), a downconverter(16), an upconverter(20), a waveform analysis part(30), a phase controller(22), a signal attenuator(24), and the second bidirectional filter(26). The first bidirectional filter(14) receives and filters a signal supplied through an antenna(12) from a base station. The downconverter(16) downconverts the signal supplied from the first bidirectional filter(14) into a low frequency signal. The upconverter(20) upconverts the signal supplied through a splitter(18) from the downconverter(16) into an RF(Radio Frequency) signal. The waveform analysis part(30) consists of an A/D converter(32), a digital signal analyzer(34), and a controller(36). The A/D converter(32) converts the signal supplied through the splitter(18) from the downconverter(16) into a digital signal. The digital signal analyzer(34) analyzes the waveform of the signal supplied from the A/D converter(32). The controller(36) controls the phase controller(22) by analyzing the characteristic of the signal according to the information of the signal analyzed at the digital signal analyzer(34). The phase controller(22) adjusts the phase of the signal supplied from the upconverter(20) according to the control of the controller(36). The signal attenuator(24) attenuates the magnitude of the signal supplied from the phase controller(22). The second bidirectional filter(26) filters the signal supplied from the signal attenuator(24) and transmits the filtered signal to a mobile terminal.
