<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit capable of enhancing availability. <P>SOLUTION: A PC2 executes temporary processing corresponding to processing designated by a user to image data to be processed, shows the temporarily processed image to the user, receives an instruction for executing the processing from the user, and issues at least one command related to the processing and an identifier to each command. A composite machine 1 receives a row of commands and a row of identifiers issued by the PC2, and executes the processing related to the designated processing according to the row of received commands to the image data to be processed.
