PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for treating liquid waste, in each of which hydrogen peroxide-containing liquid waste (the water to be treated) can be treated simply and efficiently.SOLUTION: A device 20 for treating liquid waste is used for treating the water to be treated by decomposing hydrogen peroxide in the water to be treated, which water contains the hydrogen peroxide at the least. The device 20 for treating liquid waste includes: a housing 21; an introduction port 22 which is arranged in the housing 21 and used for introducing the water to be treated into the housing 21; a discharge port 23 which is arranged in the housing 21 and used for discharging the treated water which is obtained by treating the water to be treated; and a flow passage defining member 24, which is arranged in the housing 21 and on which a catalyst is arranged. The flow passage defining member 24 is bent on at least one position between the introduction port 22 and the discharge port 23 to define a flow passage P for the water to be treated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
