Through the present invention, a high-strength steel sheet having a high yield ratio and a small difference in strength between end parts and the center in the width direction of the steel sheet is obtained. A high-strength steel sheet, the component composition of which contains, in terms of mass%, 0.02% to less than 0.10% of C, less than 0.10% of Si, less than 1.0% of Mn, 0.10% or less of P, 0.020% or less of S, 0.01% to 0.10% of Al, 0.010% or less of N, and 0.005% to less than 0.070% of Nb, the remainder comprising Fe and unavoidable impurities, the steel structure comprising, in terms of surface area, 90% or greater of ferrite, 0 to 10% of perlite, and a combined total of 0 to 3% of martensite, residual austenite, and cementite, the average crystalline particle diameter dC of the ferrite in the center in the width direction of the steel sheet being 15.0 µm or less, and the absolute value of the difference of the average crystalline particle diameter dE of the ferrite in a position 100 mm toward the center in the width direction of the steel sheet from an end in the width direction of the steel sheet and the abovementioned average crystalline particle diameter dC being 5.0 µm or less. |
