PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic unit eliminating the need for pipe connection using a pipe member between a hydraulic pump and a valve block and between the valve block and a tank, simplifying piping work and offering compact construction. SOLUTION: A mounting member 13 for connecting the hydraulic pump 11 and an engine 12 is fixed on a second upper plate 6 of tank 1 with fixing members 15, 16, the valve block 25 is mounted on the mounting member 13, and a first flow passage 30 for connecting the hydraulic pump 11 and the valve block 25 and a second flow passage 31 for connecting the valve block 25 and the tank 1 are drilled in the mounting member 13. Therefore, the mounting 13 for connecting the hydraulic pump 11 and the engine 12 can have pipe connecting function, eliminating the need for conventional pipe connection using the pipe member.
