<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornament having a base material consisting mainly of a plastic material, being excellent in permeability for electromagnetic waves as well as in aesthetic appearance and durability, and a watch comprising the ornament. <P>SOLUTION: The ornament 1 comprises a base material 2 consisting mainly of a plastic material, an oxide film 3 provided on the base material 2 and consisting mainly of a metal oxide, and a metallic film 4 provided on the opposite side of the face opposed to the base material 2 of the oxide film 3 and consisting mainly of metallic material. An Openings 6 are provided on the metallic film 4 and the oxide film 3. An area rate occupied by the openings 6 is 25-35% when the metallic film 4 is viewed in plane. A width of the openings 6 is 10-100 μm.
