PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor bearing member which is for use in a building such as an apartment house, exerts high sound insulation property against heavyweight floor impact sound while preventing increase of a floor height, and is constructed with good workability, and to provide a double floor. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the floor bearing member, a plurality of vibration isolators 16 placed on a floor slab 14 of the building function to bear a plurality of heavyweight panels 18 in a manner floating on the floor slab 14, and height adjusting means arranged on the heavyweight panels 18 function to bear floor materials 22. Therefore the height adjusting means can raise/lower the floor materials 22 and level off the same. In this manner an additional weight of the heavyweight panels 18 arranged under the floor materials 22 is applied to the floor slab 14, and thus the sound insulation property particularly against the heavyweight floor impact sound is improved while the increase of the floor height is prevented.
