A piston housing (2) accommodates a compressor piston (3) movable back and forth along an axis (4). A housing wall (5) is porous such that gas flows into the openings (6) formed on the housing wall and the gas is stored. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a gas pressure storage; and (2) a method for the production of a linear compressor.
