The present invention is a sealant for an organic electroluminescence display element, the sealant containing a cationically polymerizable compound, a photocationic polymerization initiator, and a water-absorbent filler, the cationically polymerizable compound containing a bisphenol-F-type epoxy resin and an epoxy resin having a flexible skeleton, the water-absorbent filler being calcium oxide and/or magnesium oxide, and the total surface area of the sealant being 10-100 m2 per 100 g of the cationically polymerizable compound. |
