The present invention relates to the technical field of mobile communications, and in particular, to a method and apparatus for controlling interference. A controller sends instruction information to a wireless access device where a second cell is located, and instructs the wireless access device where the second cell is located, to control the second cell to stop sending a downlink data channel within a crossed time slot between the second cell and a first cell; or, a wireless access device where the first cell is located, sends instruction information to the wireless access device where the second cell is located, and instructs the wireless access device where the second cell is located, to control the second cell to stop sending a downlink data channel within the crossed time slot between the second cell and the first cell. In this way, the problem in the prior art of interference of crossed time slots in the case of different uplink and downlink subframe configurations is resolved. |
