PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chloroprene rubber improved in dynamic properties, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention provides: chloroprene rubber having a furan skeleton structure at an end of a polymer molecule; and a production method of the chloroprene rubber, comprising emulsion polymerization of chloroprene monomers, or a mixture of chloroprene monomers and monomers copolymerizable therewith, in the presence of a chain transfer agent compound having a furan skeleton represented by the general formula (3) in the figure.
