The method involves a charge controller arranged in the hearing aid which is charged in the receiving bowl along with a transmitter device containing a circuit configuration, which has no contact with the accumulator. The charge in accumulator is determined by the charge controller. The charging process starts in the charge controller when the charge falls below a given desired value. An independent claim is also included for the device for charging the accumulator.
