Provided are a focusing area selection method and device, the method comprising: obtaining a current image according to an operation of a user; obtaining a target position in the current image for executing a default operation; delimiting a target area in the current image according to the target position, and obtaining face information in the target area; and determining a focusing area of the current image according to the face information in the target area. An embodiment delimits the target area in the current image according to the target position in the current image, wherein the target position is configured to execute the default operation, and the target area is an active member area in the current image. The embodiment further determines the focusing area of the current image according to the face information in the target area to focus on the determined focusing area, such that an active member can be more clearly and sharply shown in a photograph, thus enabling groups having various interests to enjoy taking photographs, and improving user experience. |
