The invention is directed to benzoxazinone derivatives useful as peroxisome proliferator activated receptor gamma (PPAR gamma ) modulators. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising compounds of the present invention and methods of treating conditions such as NIDDM and obesity are also disclosed.
