PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polymer that is useful as a constitution material for electronic members, for example, light emission element or electrochromism element and the like. SOLUTION: The objective polymer includes a phenazacilin represented by the following formula (1) (wherein R1 and R2 are independently from each other an alkyl, an aryl, an alkoxy, an aryloxy; R3 is H, an alkyl, an aryl, an alkoxy, an aryloxy; Ar is a divalent aromatic compound; n is an integer of 3-30,000) in the main chain. Since it is readily dissolved in an organic solvent and can be formed to film, this polymer is useful as an electronic element, a light-emission element and the like.
