<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave measuring instrument for stably measuring the pulse wave of a measurement part and to provide a pulse wave velocity measuring instrument for correctly measuring a pulse wave velocity by stably measuring the pulse wave of the measurement part, concerning the pulse wave measuring instrument for measuring the pulse wave of the measurement part such as an ankle and the pulse wave velocity measuring instrument for measuring the pulse wave of the measurement part and that of a second part, so as to obtain the pulse wave velocity. <P>SOLUTION: A base such as a heel base is arranged, on which an adjacent part such as a heel which is adjacent to the measurement part such as the ankle is placed.
