<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption by shortening filter forced regeneration time in a hybrid vehicle using a diesel engine. <P>SOLUTION: A motor control unit of a hybrid vehicle comprises a filter 33 trapping particulate in exhaust gas from a diesel engine 1; a forced regeneration means 35 forcibly regenerating a filter 33; and a battery charging means 41 converting an output from the engine 1 into power on the basis of a charging state of a battery 6 to charge the battery 6. When the vehicle is stopped, forced regeneration is under execution, and a charging ratio of the battery 6 is higher than a prescribed value, the control unit assists the output from the engine 1 by means of a motor 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
