PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can suppress consumption of toner while suppressing the generation of a die line shock image on an intermediate transfer belt.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes photoreceptor drums 47, developing units 81, an intermediate transfer belt 44b, a density detection sensor 75, a cleaning blade 83a, and a control part 70 that can execute a toner supply mode of supplying a toner from the developing units 81 to the cleaning blade 83a through the photoreceptor drums 47 and intermediate transfer belt 44b, and the control part 70 determines whether or not the toner supply mode can be executed on the basis of a result of the detection by the density detection sensor 75.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
