PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress driving force fluctuation not intended by a user in a vehicle capable of performing hybrid traveling during forward movement and motor traveling during backward movement.SOLUTION: The vehicle includes an engine, a first motor generator, and a second motor generator, and can perform hybrid traveling by using the engine and the output of the second motor generator during forward movement, and stop the engine to perform motor traveling by using the outputs of the first and second motor generators during backward movement. The vehicle is characterized in that an ECU calculates a forward upper limit driving force, sets a value smaller than the forward upper limit driving force as a backward upper limit driving force when a backward range is not selected, when the backward range is selected, limits a vehicle driving force not to exceed the backward upper limit driving force set during a forward range, and inhibits the backward upper limit driving force from being updated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
