The invention relates to a family of heat storage and heat transport materials containing solid particles stabilized in a molten metal matrix (cold state), or stabilized liquid droplets formed by the melting of these (hot state), in short a molten metal-matrix stabilized suspension / emulsion, which can be pumped / transported similarly to liquids from one place to another as desired, and in which the high thermal conductivity of the molten metal matrix ensures a high heat absorption / heat release rate, while the dispersed particles ensure a high heat storage capacity, implementing heat absorption by melting, and later heat recovery at a suitable place and time by the crystallization of the so formed droplets. |
