PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle air conditioner for performing frost formation control only when an occupant requests heating performance.SOLUTION: A vehicle air conditioner comprises: compression means for compressing a heat medium; an outdoor heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the heat medium and air outside a car room; an evaporator for exchanging heat between the heat medium and air supplied into the car room to cool the air; an indoor heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the heat medium and the air supplied into the car room to heat the air; pressure reduction means for reducing the pressure of the heat medium; blowing means for blowing the heat-exchanged air into the car room via an air conditioning outlet; temperature measurement means for measuring the temperature of the heat medium passed through the indoor heat exchanger; and a control unit for performing frost formation time control for reducing a blowing-out amount from that during a normal heating operation if deviation between a target blowing-out temperature and the measured temperature at an air conditioning outlet when frost formation is determined in the outdoor heat exchanger during heating. |
