PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel anti-obesity agent having better fat cell differentiation inhibitory action compared with resveratrol.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a polyphenol compound of the following formula (1) obtained by the heat reaction of hydroxy stilbenes and sinapic acid. In the formula (1), R1-R4 are a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, a 1-10C saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched alkoxy group, or a 1-10C saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched alkyl group. |
