PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission system capable of suppressing a power transmission efficiency from being significantly degraded even when a deviation exists between a transmission antenna and a power receiving antenna.SOLUTION: A power transmission system 100 includes: a wound transmission antenna 105 including a wound transmission coil mounted on the ground; a wound power-receiving coil disposed to oppose the transmission antenna 105; and a power-receiving antenna 201 receiving electric energy from the transmission antenna 105 through an electromagnetic field. An area (S) of a first projection plane in the perpendicular direction, the transmission coil being formed to the horizontal plane is larger than an area (S) of a second projection plane in the perpendicular direction, the power receiving coil being formed to the horizontal plane. |
