PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus capable of promptly identifying the communication system of a received signal with a simple configuration, without adding a special function in an apparatus on the transmission side. SOLUTION: Receiving antennas 31, 32 respectively receive radio waves. Receiving level detectors 34, 44 detect the receiving level of the radio wave received in each receiving antenna 31, 41. A controller 50 locks each of the plurality of receiving antennas 31, 41 to mutually different frequencies, and discriminates the communication system from the receiving level detected in each of the plurality of receiving level detectors 34, 44.
