The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to manage power in buildings considering the number of electric vehicles and, more specifically, to efficiently perform power control in buildings according to the number of electric vehicles being in the buildings. The apparatus to manage power in the buildings according to the present invention comprises an information collecting unit and a device controlling unit. The information collecting unit collects electric vehicle information including the number of electric vehicles used in the building and the charging amount of the batteries, and the device controlling unit controls the power consumed in the building according to the collected electric vehicle information.
