PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact type position sensor improved in assembling property without needing to provide components of complicated shape. SOLUTION: The non-contact type position sensor includes a detected object 47 of rugged shape to be juxtaposed to a first magnetoresistive element 22, a second magnetoresistive element 23 and a third magnetoresistive element 24, and is constituted to move the detected object 47 along the first magnetoresistive element 22, second magnetoresistive element 23 and third magnetoresistive element 24.
