PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preserve food over a long period by a low pressure chamber, while improving food storage and taking-out performance of the low pressure chamber, in a refrigerator. SOLUTION: This refrigerator has a refrigerator body for forming a plurality of storage chambers, a door for opening-closing a front opening of the respective storage chambers, the low pressure chamber 24 arranged in the storage chambers, and a pressure reducing means for reducing pressure in the low pressure chamber 24. The low pressure chamber 24 has a low pressure chamber body 40 having a food taking in and out opening part, a low pressure chamber door 50 for opening-closing the food taking in and out opening part, and a link mechanism 70 connected to the low pressure chamber door 50. The link mechanism 70 is longitudinally moved in response to the movement of the low pressure chamber door 50, and is arranged on a side surface of the low pressure chamber body 40.
