A cover for temporary protection and shielding of a brake, mainly comprising a cover main body (1). The cover main body has a cylindrical structure with one end thereof open; a central position of an upper bottom surface of the cover main body is provided with a central hole (5), a front end position of the upper bottom surface (14) of the cover main body is provided with a downwardly recessed mounting groove (3) used for mounting a brake clamp, a connected and transitional position between a front end circumferential inner wall (13) and a circumferential inner wall (15) of the cover main body is provided with position-limiting steps (4) used to limit positions, the circumferential inner wall is provided with several fasteners (10) and heat dissipation grooves (9); and the circumferential inner wall (15) of the cover main body is provided with several compensation columns (8) outwardly projecting from the circumferential inner wall. The cover in the present disclosure is mounted on a peripheral edge of a brake protection board, and employs compensation columns having a hollow half-cylindrical structure, such that it may be commonly mounted at peripheral edges of protection boards having various shapes, thereby addressing the technical problem of how to configure one cover to be adaptable to various types of protection boards. |
