PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which is excellent in fitting property for a recessed part of a body, and is also excellent in fitting property of the entire absorbent article for the skin such that an absorptive core can be deformed easily along a curved surface shape of the body in a wide range in a front-rear direction of the wearer.SOLUTION: An absorptive article includes: an absorptive core 4 which is shaped so as to be long in a front-rear direction of the absorptive article. The absorptive core 4 has in a widthwise direction thereof a central region 41 and side regions 45, 45 which are located on both sides of the central region 41. The central region 41 has a protrusion 5 which protrudes further upward than the upper surfaces of the side regions. In the absorptive core 4, the central region 41 and the side regions 45 are formed integrally with each other. A protrusion 5 is formed in such a manner that the it extends from an excretion section facing section B to a rear section C. In the protrusion 5, a plurality of lateral grooves 44 extending in the widthwise direction of the absorptive core are formed. The lateral grooves 44 are formed by reducing the weighed amount of a material which forms the absorptive core. The lateral grooves 44b formed in the rear section C is deeper or wider than the lateral grooves 44a formed in the excretion section facing section B. |
