PURPOSE:To feed an original tube to a heating oil tank device by a low tension, to stabilize its quality and to improve its productivity by feeding the tube on a descent slope from a pinch roll to a feed roll, vertically holding it by the pitch roll at the outlet of the pinch roll, and simultaneously advancing it in a tangential direction. CONSTITUTION:An original tube 8 is fed from a bobbin feeder 1 by a pinch roll 2, the slack of the tube 8 is detected by a noncontact slack detector 3 over the range from the roll 2 to a feed roll 4, the feeding speed of the roll 2 is adjusted to provide a predetermined slack, the tube 8 is fed to a tube heating oil tank device 5 by the roll 4, thereby manufacturing a heat shrinkable tube. In this case, the tube 8 is so fed as to be a descent gradient from the roll 2 to the roll 4, vertically held by the roll 2 at the outlet side of the roll 2, and simultaneously advanced in a tangential direction.
