<p>A production method for an optical lens characterized by comprising the steps of producing a drawing optical lens base material having on one side surface thereof a first curved surface portion formed into an aspherical surface and functioning as an optically acting portion, and a second curved surface portion formed on the side surface opposite to the first curved surface portion and smaller in curvature than the first curved surface portion, drawing the drawing optical lens base material down to a desired outer diameter, and producing an optical lens (1) by slicing the drawn optical lens base material, the presence of the second curved surface portion being able to restrict strain due to drawing from occurring.</p> |
