PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a locking mechanism having lock arms having a hooking part with wide width, molded by a front side slide mold and a rear side slide mold. SOLUTION: The locking mechanism 11 is composed of the lock arms 3 arranged at outer walls of a plug frame part 10, and a pair of supporting parts 5A, 5B arranged on both sides of the lock arms 3. The pair of supporting parts 5A, 5B are formed so as to protrude from the outer walls of the plug frame part 10 in one body. The pair of supporting parts 5A, 5B support the lock arm 3 at its both ends by a pair of torque rods 4A, 4B so as to make the hooking part 3A to be locked into a receptacle 2 move in rocking motion. A front side part 30F of the lock arm 3 including the hooking part 3A is molded by a concave-shaped part A1 formed on the front side slide mold 3F, and a locking face 32 of a part B1 protrusively formed on the rear side slide mold 3R can be formed so as to have a wide width.
