A super-thin emergency exit lighting device with a thickness of 4mm is provided to prevent persons from getting hurt by using an inorganic EL(Electro-Luminescence) lamp and to restrict the lighting device from being broken down even by strong impact. A super-thin emergency exit lighting device with a thickness of 4mm includes a graphic overlay, an inorganic EL lamp, a controller, and an outer case made from aluminum and rubber. The controller performs an automatic power switching detection function and an automatic power switching function, operates the inorganic EL lamp by converting AC(Alternating Current) power into DC(Direct Current) by receiving a DC 24V contactless signal and then converting DC into AC again, and controls the light emission type of the inorganic EL lamp by controlling voltage and frequency by a program of an inverter. A transparent emergency exit signal, which is used as graphic overlay, is formed by printing the graphic overlay on transparent plastic materials.
