<p>The present invention provides a method of calibrating flat fees for professional services. In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method having the following steps: receiving difficulty factors for a legal service; generating a projected flat fee for the legal service based on a pre-determined fee schedule, the pre-determined fee scheduled based on the difficulty factors; determining a final cost of the legal service based on internal time-docketed metrics; comparing the projected flat fee to the final cost within a defined tolerance; if the final cost is within the defined tolerance, an invoice is generated based on the projected flat fee.</p> |
