PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipath detection device capable of determining existence of multipath even just after application of power, and performing existence determination of the multipath highly accurately even when a past distance measuring result between a GPS satellite and a GPS receiver has an error, or when the GPS receiver is moved. SOLUTION: This device has a C/A code generation part inside the device, generates C/A at the same timing as a timing estimation result of C/A included in a signal from the GPS satellite, compares a time distribution characteristic of a correlation value of the generated C/A with a time distribution characteristic of a correlation value of received signal transmitted from the GPS satellite, to thereby determine the difference, and determines whether the multipath is included in the received signal or not based on the quantity of the determined difference.
