PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range mat having superior heat resistance and flame proofness, and being suitably used for a gas range having a so-called flat type top plate. SOLUTION: This range mat is constituted by stacking aluminum and paper by water glass to be suitably used in the range having the flat top plate. As the paper, the incombustible paper is preferably used. Whereby the heat resistance is improved, and the separation and blister of the aluminum foil and paper can not be found even under 280°C.
