PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type building making effective use of a living space with simple constitution, improving workability and reducing cost. SOLUTION: This unit type building T is formed by combining a plurality of building units 10, 20 of approximately rectangular parallelopiped shape, wherein the building units 10 (20) placed on the upper and lower floors are arranged facing each other with a predetermined space S. The unit type building T is provided with a first floor Y1 laid at a space part of the building units 10 (20); a second floor Y2 laid at the space part of the building units 10 (20) and arranged above the first floor Y1; and a third floor Y3 arranged in a higher position than the second floor Y2. A space formed by the first floor Y1 and the second floor Y2 is constituted as a first large storage room K1, and a space formed above the third floor Y3 is constituted as a second large storage room K2.
