PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage detection device capable of detecting a passage more accurately than conventional devices by increasing detection accuracy of a wheel rut.SOLUTION: Provided is a passage detection device 1 which detects a passage area included in an input image which is an image obtained by imaging a predetermined imaging area. The device includes: a central block extraction section 31 which extracts a central area of the passage area by subjecting the input image to predetermined image processing; a vegetation detection section 32 which detects whether or not an object to be imaged is a plant by using an infrared image obtained by imaging the imaging area; a central block correction section 33 which corrects a position of the central area extracted by the central block extraction section 31 based on the detection result by the vegetation detection section 32; and a passage area detection section 34 which detects the passage area by using as a reference the central area corrected in position by the central block correction section 33. |
