Provided is a liquid crystal display device having improved side visibility. The display device includes a gate line, a data line insulated from the gate line and intersecting with the gate line, and a pixel. The pixel includes a first pixel and a second pixel displaying two different gray levels on the basis of a data voltage applied to the data line. The first pixel includes a first transistor having a gate electrode connected to the gate line and having one end connected to the data line, and a first liquid crystal capacitor connected to the other end of the first transistor. The second pixel includes a second transistor having a gate electrode connected to the gate line and having one end connected to the other end of the first transistor and a second liquid crystal capacitor connected to the other end of the second transistor. |
