The present invention discloses an automatic generation of an optimized computational topology. For this purpose, the execution of a set of required computations is analyzed and the required computations are assigned to particular computational resources in order to achieve an optimized execution of the required computations. In particular, the required computations are assigned to computational resources in such a manner that an optimized computational topology can be achieved and predefined runtime specifications can be fulfilled.
