PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone dust collecting device that enables an increase in volume of dust as much as possible in a dust collection chamber in which the dust is collected and a vacuum cleaner provided with the cyclone dust collecting device. SOLUTION: An inner cylinder 12 is disposed in the dust collection chamber 11 in which dust is housed. Rotary blades 123a and a dust compressing part 123b are provided at the lower part of the cylinder 12. The cylinder 12 is connected to and rotatable together with a dust removal member 132 via a tapered dust-removal part 134 by a joint 12b engaging with an engagement part 134c. The cylinder 12 rotates together with the member 134 by the member 132 being rotated through a dust removal drive mechanism 15 connected to a dust removal motor. When the cylinder 12 is rotated, the dust in the chamber 11 is compressed by the blades 123a and the compressing part 123b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
