The present invention relates to a ship propulsion apparatus using a contra-rotating propeller. According to the present invention, a ship propulsion apparatus using a contra-rotating propeller includes a first propeller installed at a rear portion of a stern portion to generate propulsion force after receiving power from a first power unit installed inside a ship; a plurality of connection members installed on an outer circumferential surface of the stern portion; a second propeller installed on an inner circumferential surface of a rim fixed to the stern portion by the connection members, and being rotated in the direction opposite from the first propeller; and a second power unit transferring power to the second propeller, wherein a main shaft of the first propeller and a center of the second propeller are installed to be apart from each other. |
