a metallic forward section joined to a polymeric body section to define an internal volume therebetween; wherein the forward section includes a strike face, a frame extending from the strike face, and a flange extending from the frame in a direction that is orthogonal to a common reference plane, wherein the flange and the frame encircle the internal volume; wherein the body section includes a forward edge that defines a receiving portion adapted to receive the flange; and wherein opposing sides of the flange are adhered to the body section within the receiving portion. |
