The present invention provides a data processing method and device. The method is applied in a non-relational database, and comprises: receiving a first query request sent by a client, the first query request comprising a query object and a data acquisition manner; scanning data in the query object, and adding the scanned data into a result set; if the data acquisition manner is a manner of acquiring a non-sorted result set, when the result set satisfies a preset condition, stopping scanning, sending the result set that satisfies the condition to the client, and recording first location information that is scanned currently; and if the data acquisition manner is a manner of acquiring a sorted result set, when the result set satisfies the preset condition, storing the result set into a temporary space, and after the scanning is finished, sorting all the data stored in the temporary space, extracting the sorted result set in batches and sending the sorted result set to the client, and recording second location information extracted each time. |
